Terms of Use

These Terms set out the contract between you and us for using huSpace. Please read them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use huSpace.

The short version

This summary helps you find your way. The full Terms below are what count.

  • You need to be 18 or older to use huSpace.
  • What you give hu stays yours, and what hu makes for you is yours too. You can use it for work and business.
  • We may use your content to improve huSpace and to train our own models. Data from Gmail and Google Calendar is never used for that. The AI providers that answer your requests don’t train on your content.
  • hu is an AI. It can get things wrong, so check what matters.
  • Paid plans renew every month or every year until you cancel. When you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
  • If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you can withdraw from a plan within 14 days, and your local consumer law still protects you. Studio packs and balance top-ups can’t be returned once they’re added to your account.

1. Who we are

huSpace is the website at huspace.ai and the app at app.huspace.ai. It is run by Alperen LTD, a company registered in Cyprus under number HE 454844, with its registered office at Ayiou Ayapitikou 31, Paphos 8041, Cyprus. Our VAT number is CY60199812D.

“We”, “us” and “our” mean Alperen LTD. “You” means the person who uses huSpace. “hu” is the AI you talk to in huSpace.

We sell every plan and every purchase in huSpace ourselves. Stripe processes the payments for us, but Stripe isn’t the seller.

You can reach us at [email protected] or through the form at huspace.ai/contact.

2. How these Terms work

These Terms include three policies. When you agree to these Terms, you agree to them as well:

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data. They aren’t part of this agreement, but please read them.

Some features show extra terms in the app, for example on the screen where you connect another service. Those terms apply to that feature. If a policy and these Terms say different things, these Terms apply.

You accept these Terms when you create your account. When you buy a plan, a Studio pack or a top-up, the payment page asks you to accept them again.

If you already had an account when these Terms were published, we email you about them. They apply to you 7 days after that email.

3. Who can use huSpace

  • You must be 18 or older. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up.
  • You must be able to make a binding contract where you live.
  • You can’t use huSpace where the law forbids it, for example because of sanctions (section 22).
  • Each account is for one person. Don’t share your account, and don’t let anyone else use it.

These Terms are for personal accounts. If you use huSpace for your work, they still apply to you as an individual. An arrangement for a company needs a separate written agreement with us.

4. Your account

  • You sign in with Google, or with a code or a link that we email to you.
  • Use an email address that is yours and that you can read. Anyone who can open that inbox can sign in to your account, so keep it secure.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell us right away at [email protected].
  • We may limit who can sign up, for example to people with an invitation or on our waitlist.
  • You’re responsible for what happens in your account, unless it happens through our fault or through no fault of yours.

5. What huSpace does

hu is a personal AI that remembers you. Depending on your plan, you can:

  • chat with hu, and talk to it in voice calls;
  • ask hu to run tasks and research in the background, search the web and read public pages;
  • have hu write documents, decks and simple websites;
  • connect services such as Google Calendar, Gmail and other apps, so hu can work with them;
  • let hu build a memory of what matters to you;
  • share a conversation through a public link;
  • make images, video, music, narration and 3D models in Studio.

The pricing page and the app show what each plan includes. We keep working on huSpace, so we may add, change or remove features. Some features may be marked as new or experimental. They can change more often, and they may not always work as expected. If we take away something that is a main part of a paid plan, section 18 applies.

6. What to keep in mind about AI

  • hu is an AI, not a person. The voice you hear in calls is made by a computer.
  • hu can be wrong. It may misunderstand you, state things that aren’t true, leave things out, or rely on information that is out of date. Web results and task results can be incomplete.
  • Check anything important before you rely on it or act on it. That includes facts, figures, code, and anything hu does in your connected accounts.
  • hu doesn’t replace a professional. It isn’t a doctor, therapist, lawyer, accountant or financial adviser. For decisions about your health, legal matters, money or safety, talk to a qualified person.
  • Answers aren’t unique. hu may give someone else an answer like yours.

hu is not an emergency service and doesn’t replace specialists. If your life or someone else’s is in danger, call the emergency number of your country now.

7. Your content

“Your content” means what you give hu: messages, voice, files, instructions, skills, and data from services you connect. “Outputs” means what hu makes for you: replies, documents, decks, sites, task results and Studio media.

  • You keep all the rights you have in your content.
  • You let us store, copy, process and display your content to run huSpace for you, find and fix problems, keep huSpace safe, comply with the law, and improve huSpace.
  • This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that our Privacy Policy says we keep.
  • To answer you, we send the parts of your content that a request needs to the AI model providers and other service providers we use. Our Subprocessors page lists them by category.
  • You’re responsible for your content. Make sure you have the right to use it with hu. That includes other people’s information that you bring in, such as emails, contacts and calendar events.

Improving huSpace. We may use your content and outputs to improve huSpace, including to train our own models. Data from Gmail and Google Calendar is never used for this. The AI providers that answer your requests process your content only to answer you, and they don’t train on it. If you object to this use of your data, write to [email protected]. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use content, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely. We don’t owe you anything for them.

8. Outputs

  • Outputs are yours. If we have any rights in an output, we transfer them to you.
  • You can use outputs for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.
  • Copyright may not protect every output, and other people may get similar outputs. You don’t get rights in outputs made for someone else.
  • You’re responsible for how you use outputs. Check them before you publish them, send them or rely on them.
  • Some Studio models are made by other companies, and their makers may set conditions on some uses of what the models make. The AI & Studio Content Policy explains this.

9. Memory

  • hu learns about you from your conversations and from your first interview with it. It uses what it learns to help you better.
  • In Memory, you can see what hu remembers, change it, or tell hu to forget it. Forgetting works right away, and you can undo it.
  • With night learning on, hu goes over your day each night and suggests changes to how it knows you and works with you. Nothing changes until you apply a suggestion. Night learning is on by default. You can switch it off in Settings › Memory & Dreaming.
  • Memory can be wrong. If hu remembers something wrong, correct it or tell hu to forget it.
  • Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to memory when you delete a chat.

10. Connected services and actions

  • You can connect other services to hu, such as Google Calendar, Gmail and other apps. You can also add a connector yourself by its address.
  • When you connect a service, you allow hu to use it for you, within the permissions you grant on the connect screen.
  • hu reads from a connected service when your request needs it. Some services, such as your calendar, are kept in sync while they’re connected.
  • Every email hu writes for you waits until you press Send. After that, you have 60 seconds to undo it.
  • Actions that a connector marks as risky or paid always need your confirmation.
  • When hu sends a calendar invitation for you, your guests get an email from huSpace on your behalf.
  • You’re responsible for the actions you ask for or confirm, and for what hu does within the permissions you’ve given it. Read what hu is about to do before you confirm it.
  • Connected services are run by other companies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. We don’t check the services you add yourself. We aren’t responsible for those services, or for the content you get from them.
  • You can disconnect a service at any time in Settings › Connectors. When you do, we delete the access key we hold for it.

11. Tasks, research and the web

  • hu can run tasks and research in the background. It can search the web and read public pages for you.
  • Results can include other people’s content. Respect their rights, and check the sources hu gives you.
  • Websites and code that hu builds run in a closed space with no internet access. Preview links stop working after a few days (3 by default).
  • A task uses your limits while it runs. If a limit runs out, the task pauses. Nothing it has done is lost, and you don’t pay again for it. It picks up from where it stopped when the limit renews. If you’ve turned on Continue with balance, it keeps going from your balance instead, and pauses only if your balance runs out.

12. Sharing a conversation

  • You can share a conversation through a public link. The link shows a read-only copy of the conversation’s text as it was when you shared it. Cards, tool results, files and memory are left out.
  • Anyone who has the link can open it, copy it and pass it on. We ask search engines not to index shared pages.
  • You choose when the link expires: after 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days or 30 days. You can turn the link off at any time in Settings › Shared links. Deleting the chat turns it off too.
  • You’re responsible for what you share. Don’t share other people’s private information without their permission.
  • We may turn off a link that breaks these Terms or the law.

13. Acceptable use

Follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, don’t:

  • break the law, or use huSpace to hurt, threaten, deceive or harass people;
  • make sexually explicit content, in chat or in Studio;
  • make or share sexual content involving minors, in any form;
  • make realistic images, video or voices of real people without their consent;
  • get around our limits or safety measures, or reach huSpace through bots, scripts or scrapers;
  • sell, rent or share access to your account;
  • copy, reverse engineer or attack huSpace, or try to extract its internal instructions;
  • use outputs to build or train an AI product that competes with huSpace.

If you break these rules, we may take the steps in section 19.

14. Studio

  • Studio makes images, video, music, narration and 3D models with AI models from other companies. It is open on every plan, including Free and the trial.
  • You pay for Studio with Studio credits (15.9). Before a job starts, Studio shows its price or an estimate in credits. Studio starts a job only if you have enough credits for it and for the jobs you already have running. You’re charged only for finished results.
  • If a job fails, on our side or the provider’s, you aren’t charged for it.
  • If you cancel a job before it reaches the provider, nothing is charged. Once a provider has started a job, it can be stopped only if that provider allows it. Otherwise, the job finishes and you’re charged for it.
  • If a job asks for several results and the provider takes on only some of them, you pay only for those.
  • Studio and its providers may check prompts, uploads and results, and block those that break our policies. Some providers check results for safety and may hold a result back. You’re still charged for a result that a provider holds back.
  • Studio media is made by AI. Some model makers add marks or data to their results that show this. Don’t remove them to mislead people.
  • Follow the AI & Studio Content Policy when you use Studio.

15. Plans, limits and payments

15.1 Plans

  • Free costs nothing. It gives you a set number of messages a day on a lighter model, renewed at midnight UTC, with fewer features. It doesn’t include calls, research or background tasks. It has no Studio credits of its own, but you can buy Studio packs.
  • Trial. Each person gets one free 7-day trial, starting when they sign up. You don’t need a card. The trial opens most features, with smaller limits than Plus. It includes no Studio credits, but you can buy Studio packs. When the trial ends, your account moves to Free, and nothing is charged.
  • Paid plans are Plus, Pro, Max and Ultra. You can pay monthly or yearly. Higher plans have higher limits and more Studio credits. Prices for each plan and period are on our pricing page.
  • Some effort levels come only with higher plans. The app shows which.

The pricing page and the app show current prices and what each plan includes. The price that applies to you is the one shown on the payment page before you pay.

15.2 Usage limits

  • Paid plans and the trial come with a weekly limit and a 5-hour limit.
  • The weekly limit renews every 7 days, counted from the day your plan or trial started.
  • The 5-hour limit starts with your first use and renews in full 5 hours later.
  • Chat, tasks, research, documents and web search count toward both limits. Voice calls count toward the weekly limit only, and so does the work hu does in the background to keep your memory up to date.
  • Each action uses your limit in line with what it costs us to run. That depends on the model, the length of the conversation and of the answer, the effort level you choose, the length of a call, and the number of steps and sources in a task. Higher effort levels use more.
  • Settings › Usage shows how much of each limit you’ve used and when each one renews.
  • Unused limits don’t carry over.
  • Plans also differ in how many big tasks can run at the same time.

15.3 When a limit runs out

  • hu switches to hu lite: short replies on a lighter model, without tasks or search, up to a set number of messages a day. hu still remembers you.
  • Full hu comes back when the limit renews. You can also upgrade your plan, or turn on Continue with balance to keep going and pay from your balance (15.8).
  • A running task pauses until one of these happens. It keeps what it has done (section 11).

15.4 Paying

  • Stripe processes our payments. You enter your card details on Stripe’s page. We never receive your full card number.
  • Prices are in US dollars and don’t include tax. Stripe works out the tax from your billing details and adds it at checkout where it applies.
  • Your plan, pack or top-up starts as soon as your payment goes through. When you pay, you ask us to start it at once. This affects your right of withdrawal, as our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains.
  • Stripe sends your receipts and invoices. Charges show on your statement as HUSPACE.
  • Your bank may add its own fees, for example for converting currency.
  • When you buy a plan, you allow us to charge your payment method, through Stripe, at the start of each period until you cancel, and when you upgrade. When you buy a pack or top up, you allow us to charge it once.

15.5 Renewal

  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period, every month or every year, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings › Billing.
  • We charge the plan’s price at the start of each new period.
  • Each paid period comes with the plan’s Studio credits. On a yearly plan they arrive month by month, and each month’s credits end with that month.
  • We email you when your plan starts, renews, changes or is cancelled. Before a yearly plan renews, we send you a reminder by email.

15.6 Cancelling

  • You can cancel at any time in Settings › Billing › Manage subscription. This opens your billing page at Stripe. You can also ask us to cancel by writing to [email protected] from your account’s email.
  • To avoid paying for the next period, cancel before your plan renews. Settings › Billing shows the renewal date.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan, its limits and its Studio credits stay until the end of the period you paid for. We email you the end date.
  • Changed your mind? You can resume the plan in the same place before the period ends.
  • When the period ends, your account moves to Free. Your memory and your conversations stay.
  • We don’t refund the rest of a period after you cancel, except as the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the law provides.

15.7 Changing your plan

You change your plan in the app, in Settings › Billing.

  • Upgrades apply at once. We charge the difference for the rest of the current period straight away, and we add the extra Studio credits for that period. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment, the upgrade waits until you do.
  • Downgrades apply from the start of your next period. Until then, you keep your current plan. We don’t refund the difference. You can cancel a planned downgrade before it starts.
  • Moving from monthly to yearly counts as an upgrade. Your yearly period starts at once, and we charge the yearly price minus the unused part of your current month. Moving from yearly to monthly happens when your paid year ends.
  • You can’t change your plan while a payment has failed or while your plan is set to end. Update your card, or resume your plan, first.

15.8 Balance

  • Your balance is an amount you pay in advance so you can keep using hu beyond your limits. It is available only with a paid plan.
  • To use it, turn on Continue with balance in Settings › Usage, or choose Top up and continue when a limit runs out. It covers chat, tasks and calls. You can turn it off at any time. Studio doesn’t use your balance.
  • Actions paid from your balance are charged at our current prices for usage.
  • There’s no monthly cap on balance spending. While Continue with balance is on, hu keeps going until your balance runs out or you turn it off. The app tells you when your balance is running low.
  • Your balance stays valid for the period shown when you top up. Each top-up or spend starts that period again.
  • Without an active plan, your balance is frozen: you can’t use it, and it doesn’t expire. It becomes usable again when you subscribe.
  • Your balance is a prepayment for our services. It isn’t money, electronic money or a deposit. You can’t withdraw it, sell it, or move it to another account, except through a refund under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the law.

15.9 Studio credits and packs

  • Studio credits pay for Studio. They aren’t used for chat, tasks or calls.
  • Each paid plan includes Studio credits for every period. They end with the period and don’t carry over. Free and the trial include none.
  • You can buy more in Studio packs, on any plan, including Free and the trial. The app shows how many credits a pack gives before you pay.
  • Studio uses your plan’s credits first, then your packs.
  • Packs last for the period shown when you buy them. Any Studio use, or a new pack, starts that period again for all your packs. Packs stay usable whatever plan you’re on.
  • Studio credits are a prepayment for Studio. They have no cash value, and you can’t move them to another account, except through a refund under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or the law.
  • The number of credits in a pack you’ve bought doesn’t change later. What each Studio job costs in credits can change (15.11), and Studio shows it before the job starts.

15.10 Bonuses

Sometimes we give extra use or credits for free, for example in a promotion. We may also offer promo codes or coupons, and each one works as its offer says. Free extras last until the date we tell you. They have no cash value, and we can’t refund or exchange them.

15.11 Changes to prices and limits

  • We may change plan prices. We’ll email you at least 7 days before a new price applies to you. It applies from your first renewal that comes at least 7 days after that email. If you don’t want to pay it, cancel before that renewal.
  • We may raise limits at any time. If we lower your plan’s limits, we’ll tell you at least 7 days before.
  • Our prices for usage paid from your balance, and Studio prices, may change at any time. Studio shows a job’s price before it starts. An action that has already started is charged at the price that applied when it started.

15.12 Fair use

  • A plan is for one person’s own use.
  • Plans differ in how many big tasks can run at the same time. To keep huSpace working well for everyone, we may limit how often new requests or research can be started. If we see automated use of an account, we may lower its limits.

16. Refunds

The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when we give refunds. It covers the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK, and the other cases where the law requires a refund.

When we refund a payment, we take back what’s left of what that payment gave you, such as Studio credits or balance. When we refund a plan payment, the plan ends at once and your account moves to Free. A refund doesn’t leave you owing us anything.

17. Payment disputes

  • If a charge looks wrong, please write to us first at [email protected]. It’s usually faster than going through your bank. We reply as soon as we can.
  • If you open a dispute (a chargeback) with your bank, paid features pause while it’s open. Your memory and conversations stay.
  • If the dispute is decided in your favour, we take back what that payment gave you. Anything you’d already used shows as an amount owed, and paid features stay paused until it’s settled.
  • If the dispute is decided in our favour, everything is restored.
  • If two disputes that you opened without writing to us first are decided in our favour, we may stop selling you paid plans and purchases. Free stays open to you.

18. Changes to huSpace

  • We may change, replace or stop features.
  • If a change takes away a main part of a paid plan, we’ll tell you at least 7 days before. You can then cancel, and we’ll refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
  • If we close huSpace for good, we’ll tell you at least 7 days before. We’ll refund what you prepaid and haven’t used: plan time, your balance and your Studio packs.

19. Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using huSpace at any time. To end a paid plan, cancel it (15.6). To delete your account and all its data, write to [email protected] from your account’s email. We delete it within a month, except what the law makes us keep, such as payment and tax records. When we delete your account, we also cancel any plan you have. Your unused balance and Studio credits end with the account and aren’t refunded, so use them first.

We may limit, suspend or close your account if:

  • you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or our policies;
  • the law requires it, or a court or an authority orders it;
  • your use puts other people, huSpace or our providers at risk;
  • a payment is fraudulent.

We may also close a Free account that nobody has signed in to for 12 months. We’ll email you at least 30 days before, and signing in keeps the account open. This never applies to an account with a paid plan, a balance or Studio packs.

Where we reasonably can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. We may act without a warning in serious cases, for example fraud, a threat to someone’s safety, or harm to children, or where the law or an authority doesn’t allow a warning.

When we act, we’ll tell you what we did, why, and how to appeal. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

If we close your account through no fault of yours, we’ll refund plan time you’ve paid for and not used, your unused balance and your unused Studio packs. If we close it because you broke these Terms, we don’t refund anything.

20. Our responsibility to you

20.1 What we promise

  • We’ll provide huSpace with reasonable skill and care.
  • Beyond that, and beyond the rights you have by law, we provide huSpace as it is and as available. We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that outputs will be accurate, complete or right for your purpose.
  • If you’re a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the law gives you rights when a digital service isn’t as described or doesn’t work properly. Nothing in these Terms takes those rights away.

20.2 Limits on our liability

  • The law doesn’t let anyone limit some kinds of liability, for example for fraud, or for death or personal injury that our negligence causes. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes them.
  • If you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK: if we break these Terms or don’t take reasonable care, we answer for the harm this causes you, as long as that harm was foreseeable when you accepted these Terms. Harm is foreseeable if it was obvious it would happen, or if both of us knew it might. If you use huSpace for business, we aren’t responsible for lost profits, lost business or lost opportunities.
  • Everywhere else, as far as the law allows: we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. For all claims relating to huSpace together, we’re liable for no more than whichever is higher: what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.
  • We aren’t responsible for:
    • services you connect;
    • what other people do with content you share;
    • actions you take or confirm because of an output;
    • delays and failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • Keep your own copies of anything important to you.

21. Indemnity

This section applies only if you use huSpace for business, and only as far as the law allows. It doesn’t apply to consumers.

If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, the way you used outputs, or your breach of these Terms, you’ll cover our reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees. We’ll tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence.

22. Sanctions and export rules

You confirm that you aren’t in a country or region under broad sanctions. You also confirm that you aren’t named on a sanctions list of the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or the United States. Don’t use huSpace to break sanctions or export control laws.

23. Disputes and governing law

  • Talk to us first. Most problems can be solved by email. Write to [email protected], tell us what happened and what you’d like us to do, and we’ll try to solve it with you.
  • These Terms, and any dispute about them or about huSpace, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
  • If you’re a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
  • In all other cases, wherever you live, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus decide any dispute about these Terms or huSpace.
  • We don’t take part in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) before consumer dispute bodies.

24. Changes to these Terms

  • We may update these Terms, for example when huSpace, our prices or the law change.
  • If a change matters to you, we’ll email you at least 7 days before it takes effect. Small changes, such as fixing typos or making something clearer, apply when we post them.
  • If you don’t agree with a change, you can cancel your plan before the change takes effect. Where the law requires it, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.
  • If you keep using huSpace after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply to you.
  • Earlier versions stay on our Legal page.

25. General terms

  • Whole agreement. These Terms and the policies in section 2 are the whole agreement between you and us about huSpace.
  • If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Transfer. We may transfer these Terms to another company that takes over running huSpace. We’ll tell you, and your rights won’t be reduced. You can’t transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else without our written agreement.
  • No one else has rights under these Terms.
  • Events outside our control. We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events we couldn’t reasonably control.
  • Language. These Terms are written in English. If we give you a translation and the two differ, the English text applies, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
  • Notices. We send notices to your account’s email or show them in the app. You can send notices to [email protected] or to Alperen LTD, Ayiou Ayapitikou 31, Paphos 8041, Cyprus.
  • Our name. huSpace, hu and the hu logo belong to us. Don’t use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or work with you.
